Masala Zone

Floral Street, London, WC2

Lamburgers. It just doesn’t stack up. However you try and approach it, lamb and burger just don’t got together. Masala Zone is a gem among cheap eats in London, and since they set up they’ve successfully redesigned people’s expectations of ‘going for a curry’. A rich choice of South Indian Thalis that if you have even the slightest interest in Indian food you simply HAVE to try. But burgers are a step too far. Great on value but it just doesn’t work.

Burgers: 2/10

Peter:

I have tried to have one several times but as they served only at the lunch time, when usually I don't have time to eat:-( it took me several weeks to get one. What a disappointment! It's not that lamb doesn’t work for burgers, it about very poor quality of meet they use. And forget about having them other way then well done, they just won't do it (probably for a good reason). Masala is has amazing thalis but burger are no-go zone.
